how should i start blogging? okay let me blog by sequence.. haha coz i have lots to say but i dont know where to begin with -_-"


yesterday...

woke up early in the morning and rushed down to the temple at bedok. it was 100 days after grandma's death.. and so we had to go down to pay our respects again. so fast. 100 days since i last saw her.. but all i have now is an image of her in my mind that i'm going to keep for the next 100 years. if there is, another 100 years for me.

then dad drove me to the northeast cdc office. security was tight. encountered like 3 or 4 guards on the way to the building's entrance and i had to keep repeating to every single one of them "i'm from northeast cdc. i'm from northeast cdc." and before that i met randel and laoda downstairs. whoo they were rock climbing.. haha. so i went up to the office with the lift that had no buttons again. LOL. i reached there at around 12 plus then they started to do my hair. sian.. i didnt mind having some durian, rambuttan or pineapple hairstyle. but i think the stylist was too lazy. he straightened my hair only. so i didn't like my hair that day.

slacked around the room. i was so bored and i looked out of the window. stared at my stage when i heard from behind me,

"OEI hello girl. HELLO?!?!"

i turned around.

"COME for your makeup."

hey, shit you. i have a name. my name is YUMIN so stop hollering at me.



gave him the most annoyed look and walked over to josephine. i just wondered what that ah beng was doing there.

nothing much to do after that. sat at a corner with daryl and started rehearsing on my own and i almost fell asleep. so freaking boring!! then shervin showed me what i was supposed to wear that night. but wtf?? i didn't know i was going to wear a dress and i freaking forgot to bring my bloody heels. so of course, kenna screwed by shervin. then there was this conflict between daryl and shervin coz daryl thought i should be wearing something more casual to suit his song. blah blah blah wo shi wu gu de. i refused to get involved in that conflict. stay out of trouble. but in the end, i still wore the dress shervin prepared. WITH THAT PAIR OF CANVAS SHOES. u don't understand how embarrassed i felt, wearing a dress with canvas shoes. so i quickly rang daddy up and asked him to fly over with my heels to rescue me. anyway, i would say most of the staffs there behaved more like hooligans. seems like they dont like the idea of talking to us more politely.

slacked somemore and chatted with the other contestants till 4pm. then we went down for dry run.. the weather was super hot. the thick makeup on my face was melting. anyway, the dry run was as good as not having any. coz i didnt feel prepared at all. haha.. they made us sing a few lines only. but it was quite scary as i saw the crowd grow.

the competition started. whee~ quan yi feng and adrian pang came. we were called into the make up room for touch up before we were sent on stage. when group6 was on the stage, i stood at the steps, with quan yi feng they all =D , standing by.

then a guy in charge of sound effects started chatting with me.

"so u learnt singing?"
"no. only learnt some basic stuffs from choir last time"

i didn't know what that was supposed to mean though. was it because i sounded as if i learnt singing or was it because he thought i had disgraced my teacher with my singing? or maybe it was just a question. haa.

i thought it was my turn. BUT THEN, the guests of honour came after group6's performance. what timely arrival. i was standing there waiting impatiently for my turn to get it over and done with but the ministers' arrival and the video extended my sufferings. oh nevermind.


it was finally my turn. i walked cautiously to the center of the stage coz that pair of heels wasn't mine (arghs!!) and i had to make sure i dont trip and fall. anyway, it was scary to know xu huan liang was there. he was the superstar judge and there he was, judging ME. or maybe not me, but my song. i tried not to look at the judges and focused on the audience. i thought overall my singing was okay. at least i didnt go out of tune like i did for rehearsal. thank goodness. anyway, it was still the chorus that killed me. i couldn't change into falsetto in time and so i sounded like i was dying. but it's okay, i didn't fumble at the mistake and ruin the whole song. phew.

the moment i walked down the stage, jia en was like

"heyy you were brave!! you were the first to go up alone!! so how did it feel like having the stage all by yourself?? hehe."

haha. she was the next soloist to go up and i guarantee you, she sings far much better than i do.


anyway there came my integritians, with a huge sunflower bouquet. haha! thanks alot people =D so glad they came down. and then, sammy, chiki and the snooker guys came too! wheee~ so happy hahaha. i'm touched! received a rose that sammy plucked from somewhere ( i still dont believe, unless like hunning said, he filed the thorns with his nails and washed away the blood on the stalk after that. omg *faint* ) anyway thanks to all my supporters! glad to have you guys around! ^_^ oh yar, and heard minister teo threw chips and bananas to chiki they all. HAHA! chips still okay lah.. but BANANAS?? haha! tarzan ah? LOL. so funny!! he simply rocks man =p so the ministers had to sit on the ground too. hehe..



then we had to gather for prize giving. group2 was missing. patricia was super pissed and worried that they couldnt come back in time for the ceremony. so she got another group, who came from the same school as group2, to call them up. HAH then i heard they were still outside taking photos of taufik -_-" so patricia shouted

"ASK THEM TO COME BACK HERE BEFORE PRIZE GIVING STARTS OR ELSE GOD BLESS THEM."

rofl. yes indeed. god blessed them. they freaking came in first in student's category -_-" we were glad it wasn't group*censored* coz i heard they cheated. felt so much like kicking his bloody ass down the stage. rahhhhs. but i saw taufik at the backstage!! felt so fortunate coz his fans were all outside.. trying to squeeze in to catch a glimpse of him but i was only 30cm away from him!!

"HELLO!!!" stretched out my hand with the silliest grin on my face.
"thank you!!" taufik said, smiling at me!!

yeah!! i was so excited.. hehe. refused to wash my hand that night. HAHA joking lar.



anyway, the groups we thought could have won didn't win. 3dash1 who was the champion for the school of rock didn't win too :( haiz. but it's already very good to come in top 10 in the category. anyway, i felt i did my job already. and like i keep repeating, it wasn't a singing competition (yes yongsen it WASN'T a singing competition) so yupp, my singing wasn't judged at all. i was more of disappointed that the song didn't win, a pity.



so we went to have supper after that. i couldnt decide which group to go with so i merged the integritians with tjcians. hahaha. wise choice. sammy and hunning were ex-dunmanians and yongsen and owen were long lost scouts acquaintances and they hit it off. rofl. i did enjoy that night. hope that all of you who went down did too :))


today...

my alarm clock went off at 6 but i couldnt get my ass off the bed. so there goes my crashing plan! i didn't join the victorians for the celebration but i still did go back vj. hurhur. then we went parkway to eat and we saw OLINDA!! for god's sake i saw taufik yesterday and olinda today. maybe sylvester tomorrow. haha! i'm so freaking lucky.

we took hell long to decide where to go and what to do next but i think everything was a wrong choice =p

bumped into zhong yu. wheee~ long time no see =D then saw jiening. next was yew boon and kelly =p what a small world. anyway i watched the worst show ever. it wasn't ivan's fault that we were watching it, coz he himself didnt know what kind of ticket he bought too. HAHA! we thought we went into the wrong cinema and were watching some show that was supposed to be R21. but unfortunately it wasn't. holy shit.

i thought it was romance. then at least i'll feel better watching it instead of charlie. but it turned out to be some sex show instead. whooo. erotic scenes and everything. and the plot was dumb. the truth about love? or should it be the truth about lust? for goodness sake. we couldnt believe we were watching that kind of show haha! sian. wasted my money. could have played half a day of pool with that money.

took alot of photos today =D then vandalised on this wall in the esplanade. saw many scribblings about vjc and so i decided to add on " tjc scg 07/05 rocks!! " yes o7o5, thank me for that =D



okay i shall upload the nicey photos next time! :))




what comes next will be tutorials that i promised to complete after my competition. haa. happy national day -_-" happy physics test day on thurs and happy econs test + napfa test day on fri.
